Inclement Weather Policy

If the Park Hill School District is closed, dismisses early or cancels evening activities the dance center will also be closed.   We will make every attempt to post confirmation of closings on the website as well as our Facebook Page.   On occasion we may send our students and staff home early if the weather becomes questionable during evening classes. Please be sure to check with the office manager to make sure we have your contact information on file.

 Attendance & Attire

We will be continuing to work on our routines for the Spring show, therefore, attendance in class is very important.  It is equally important that students are dressed in the proper class attire and have the correct shoes.  If you are not sure what your student needs for class, please ash his or her teacher or one of the office staff.  Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Credit Cards will be accepted for HDC wear, costume deposits, recital tickets, etc. There will be a $2.00 convenience charge added to each transaction. Credit Card transactions will be submitted on the 1st and 15th of the month only.    We do have some HDC t-shirts and shorts in stock and available for purchase.

 Once the current HDC student has referred 3 qualified new students, they will receive 1 month’s free tuition on a single class.

 A qualified student is one who enrolls and pays a minimum of 1 month’s tuition.   The credit will be given to the current HDC student on the month following the 3^rd new student’s qualified enrollment.

Assistants of the Month  

Carissa Myers

Carissa, a graduate of Park Hill South High School, has been a student at HDC for 19 years.  She has been assisting for the past two years.  Carissa in employed at HyVee.  She also volunteers at Hillcrest Ministries and with the Special Olympics. 

 Devin Steinhasuer

Devin is a sophomore at Park Hill South High School where she maintains a GPA of 4.0.  She has been a student a total of 5 years and has been assisting for 1 year.  Last summer Devin was invited by People to People to travel to China where she did community service work.  Devin is also a member of Heidi’s Heroes Dance Team.
